  Hey Hey Hey! Listen to what I tell, In a village, there lived a farmer Whose life was hell,   He toiled in his fields, For all day and night But at the end of it all, His crops weren’t alright   This made him sad, And he only could weep That little bit of money, Wasn’t enough for his leep   The farmer gave up, He was totally despaired No one in this world, He thought even cared   The family went hungry, The creditors were at his door He tried to convince them, But he couldn’t, no more!   Tears rolled down, His dry rough cheeks So he took to self slay, And a child gave out a friek   The helpless farmer got startled, After seeing his son’s pale face How could he throw away it all, He ran to him and held in embrace   The wife who stood still, Moved closed to him She said in a gentle voice, This is life there’ll be light after dim        Ek Baat hame...

In days of yore, there was wealth galore and all we heard, was India the golden bird.   Its prosperity glowed, And intruders were allured Disguised as traders Entered in India countless invaders.   Dutch, Portuguese, Arabs and British, They showed trade but their plan was vicious The beginning was fancy only to befool, But the real idea was to divide and rule.   Then rose some leaders from the common mankind, Who took up the task to connect & bind All people together then up stood, Establishing an example of immense brotherhood   The world is at stake, To every man a plea we make Let there be harmony intense, For unity is the greatest strength.  

  Here comes the New Year, And it's time to make resolutions. For I promise to be sincere And bring in me a revolution. In class, I'll talk less. In studies, I'll surely progress. All my lies I'll confess. I'll go to play with egress. To my friends, I'll be kind, Have my character refined, To a helper of mankind With a sound mind. I'll follow my teacher's advice. Regularly I'll exercise. My mother I'll idolize. Beyond doubt I'll civilize. These are my resolutions To bring in me an evolution. To follow them, I'll try my best. Until then, I'll not rest
